USS at Dolfield
This Design Build project included renovation of existing structures, the construction of a pre-engineered metal building warehouse addition and a conventionally constructed two story building addition. United Sortation Solutions (now doing business as Intelligrated, a part of Honeywell) engaged KasCon early on to navigate the development process, hire the complete design team and orchestrate a phased construction of their new headquarters facility. Portions of the original structure were demolished while others were renovated. A new pre-engineered addition was erected while the existing renovated sections remained occupied due to the owner’s critical production schedule.
A 60,000 square foot fully conditioned pre-engineered metal building with an elevator was constructed to integrate with the original building built in the 1960s. The combined structure was then complimented by a two-story contemporary steel, glass, and masonry entry addition. The project was completed with the build out of 20,000 square feet of modern offices and conference facilities.
